Skin Code Mixlab was developed by Tina Roche, a Nurse Practitioner with approximately 30 years of nursing experience and 16 years of Nurse Practitioner practice. Tina has selected the formula logic, ingredient combinations, routine pairings and review triggers used throughout the quiz.

If your answers suggest active irritation, a complex medical treatment or another reason an automated result may not be suitable, your formula will pause for Tina’s review.

What is Ekseption Mixlab?
Mixlab is Ekseption’s professional customisation system. It contains concentrated serum bases that can be used alone or blended in different ratios for specific skin priorities.
Is this a completely unique formula?
Your serum is selected from eight approved starting pathways and blended in the exact recorded ratio shown in your result. Tina can review and adjust the formula where your answers require more individual judgement.
Can I buy the serum without the other products?
Yes. The custom serum is the core product. The cleanser, moisturiser and activator are optional recommendations selected to support the same goal.
Why is an activator not included in every result?
Some skin needs barrier support before additional resurfacing. When an activator is marked Not Yet, we will reconsider it at your 30-day review.
How long will the serum last?
Usage varies by the amount and frequency stated on the formula card. The bottle contains 30 ml and is intended for one customer.
Can my formula change?
Yes. Your 30-day review considers tolerance, progress and any change in priorities before the next order.
What if my quiz needs review?
Your answers are sent to Tina. You will receive confirmation or a short follow-up question before the formula is prepared.
Can the quiz diagnose my skin condition?
No. The quiz guides cosmetic skincare selection. It does not diagnose or treat a medical condition.
What if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Your result will pause for Tina’s review so the routine can be considered against your current circumstances and products.
Do I still need sunscreen?
Yes. Broad-spectrum SPF is essential every morning, particularly when addressing pigmentation, texture, breakouts or visible ageing.
