Why You'll Love It

Most cleansers for oily or acne-prone skin solve one problem while creating another — they clear the pores but strip the barrier, triggering more oil production and more breakouts. The Purifying Facial Cleanser is formulated to break that cycle. Kaolin and bentonite clay draw out impurities and absorb excess oil without over-drying, while 0.5% salicylic acid gently encourages cell turnover and penetrates the pore lining to keep congestion from forming in the first place. Granactive Acne — a clearing peptide — works synergistically with the salicylic acid to target acne-causing bacteria at the source. German chamomile calms any inflammation, and Uniglucan G-51 smooths and protects against irritation. The result: genuinely clearer skin that isn't tight, red, or sensitised. Can be used as a wash or left on as a clay mask for a deeper treatment. This is the cleanser I put teenagers and adult acne clients on — and the one I recommend when nothing else has worked.

How To Use

Apply a small amount to damp skin and massage gently. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Use morning and/or evening. For a deeper treatment, apply to dry skin and leave on for 5–10 minutes as a clay mask before rinsing. Safe for daily use. Follow with toner, serum, and SPF in the morning. Note: this product contains tea tree oil, which has a naturally strong, medicinal scent — this is normal and a sign of the active ingredients at work.

How does it fit into my routine — and can I really use it as a mask?

As a daily cleanser: apply a small amount to damp skin, massage gently, and rinse with warm water. Morning and/or evening. Follow with toner, serum, and SPF in the morning.
