Purifying Cleanser

Most cleansers designed for oily or congested skin create a different problem while solving the original one — they strip the barrier so aggressively that the skin compensates with more oil, which leads to more congestion, which leads to more harsh cleansing. You can use it as a targeted cleanser — focusing application on the T-zone, nose, and chin where congestion is the problem — and rinse more quickly from the drier areas. Alternatively, use it daily on the whole face and pair it with a hydrating serum and moisturiser to restore comfort to drier zones. Kaolin and bentonite clay work where there's oil to absorb; on genuinely dry areas with minimal sebum, they have little to act on.
